I am a qualified ear health practitioner, offering a home visiting service, covering Ludlow, Craven Arms and South Shropshire. I am also able to provide clinic appointements in Ludlow.
Your ear health is my priority. After listening to any problems you are having and after examining your ears I will discuss and advise on which earwax removal procedure is best for you if this is required. I am experienced in both Microsuction and Water/Saline Irrigation.
Using the latest video endoscope technology I will be able to show you photos and videos of your ear canal, before, during and after the procedure. All of this can be carried out in the comfort of your own home or at pre-booked clinic appointments in Ludlow.

Microsuction & Water Irrigation
Microsuction is the "gold standard" process of removing wax from your ears by using a small suction tube to gently remove any excess wax in the ear. It’s the safest and most efficient way of removing that stubborn wax build up or blockage.
Microsuction is just as it sounds; micro because I’ll be using a microscope, which will allow me to see everything I’m doing as I do it, and suction because I’ll be using a small medical vacuum to remove the wax.
Microsuction is not suitable for everyone. Irrigation uses a gentle, regulated stream of water to dislodge wax blockages and can sometimes be a better alternative. I will explain the pros and cons of both procedures and advise on which is best for you.
Prices:
£25 for the initial consultation and ear health exam using the video endoscope. If you have wax which needs removing this will cost an additional £35 for one or both ears. This should all be possible in one appointment, however a second appointment may be needed in some instances.
